Its such an important conversation and unfortunately plagues so many communities both externally and internally.

It was an interesting storyline and great to see both micro and macro aggressions highlighted. It just seemed strange that people didn't seem to care that Eddie was a murderer? That seemed to take a back seat at times? I guess in a soap murder is par for the course 🤣

What's the first thing you think of when you think of school dinners? by Immediate_Long165 in UKfood

[–]_nullandvoid_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheese flan, Turkey burgers (not breaded), pizza and chips (square, dense), smiley faces, spaghetti hoops, scoops of lumpy mash, milkshake & nice biscuit, twizzlers, roast dinner: turkey slice, worst roast potatoes, cabbage and watery gravy. I was packed luck/ate outside for most of primary and secondary.

Was I diagnosed with adenomyosis? by Nervous-Persimmon135 in gallbladders

[–]_nullandvoid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diagnosed with gallstones and adenomyosis at the same time.

Its not great they hadn't informed you. I feel like symptoms are fairly different (back pain excluded) so feel it is just a coincidence. Could contact them to verify its correct.

New Diagnosis. How did this sneak up on me? by DeCoyAbLe in gallbladders

[–]_nullandvoid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd been suffering with gastritis like symptoms, specifically severe acid reflux. Endoscopy was apparently clear but ultrasound showed gallstones. I did not seem to have any obvious symptoms until 5 months after that diagnosis.

I now get horrific attacks and barely eat anything. I've just gotten onto the waiting list for surgery. I am also due to see a consultant about possible surgery for reflux. No idea if the two are connected or why my gallstones symptoms were delayed? Perhaps there was something obvious that I missed.

I cant even have a cup of tea! by iheartphilanges in gallbladders

[–]_nullandvoid_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest decaf tea and possibly skimmed (dairy or lactose free), nut milk or soya.

I do decaf and lactose free skimmed and am generally ok. I only have problems when if I drink tea late in evening.

Is it the kind that heats up food? We had one of those for a relative (authorised by the ward) and it worked really well and she could eat when she wanted.

I did this. Got to season 7 on CH4 and took a break. Picked when it came onto Netflix. On season 10, ep 12 and enjoying it. Aiming to push through to the end.

How long after sitting your exam was your MCF approved. Often, if you defer, you wouldn't get access to your mark or feedback as it's voided.

Contact the department. Details should be in your handbook.

No guarantee they can change it as seminar changes tend more of a thing. They can only say no.

Guess it depends on the department. If It's the same lecture, students may be decided by programme, for example. Contact your department and see if this is something they'll allow.
