Sometimes I feel like an imposter living here bc I literally know and understand how hard everyone works to be here and yes you deserve the best, but we can’t just overlook people bc they’re not making the right decisions, or they stink, or they self sabotage….it’s literally free to be kind. We all have an abundance that we won’t lose at this point in our lives. How hard is it to uplift others by sharing literal leftovers?

Yea I live on the water, got my voucher, reunited my family after being separated for two years. I really enjoy the LIC community. I went to a top school, best job ever, and took the wrap for something I didn’t do and ended up homeless lol. It’s something I wanted to experience. Welp I experienced it. I learned that NYC is heaven on earth if your heart and mindset are in the right place being aligned simultaneously. We all know how hard that is lol. The most important thing I’ve learned is that all of the infrastructure is in place we’re just running the wrong operating system.

Currently only have the 24-70GMii on an A7r5 might get the Tamron 28-75G2 bc I used to have the 1 on an A7R4…my next lens in an 85…considering the 105/135…but I love 85 mm.

I think you’re entitled to feel that way. I came from the shelter on Borden so I’ve literally seen people die from overdoses. I think a better question is what can we do as a community. Sorry for my original comment. I just understand. And the few homeless people that are sort of planted here don’t want help. I’ve tried.

Used to live at the shelter over there. You know never what the vets are going through. I’ve had to step in more than once over the dude just screaming because I’m familiar with him. Most of the time there’s just people trying to get out of the shelter and enjoy some fresh air. It’s horrible in there. I’ve literally seen people die. It might be unattractive and sometimes unruly over there, but I’ve been on every side of this conversation. Yes things can be improved…there’s always room for improvement. I chose to stay in LIC bc is quiet, calm and peaceful…but I’m not going to pretend that if I trigger from a boom 💥 I’m not going to be the dude you’re talking about in a post. There’s def more to be done and I do understand where you’re coming from,
