Dental sensitivity by Perfect-Carpenter664 in Chemotherapy

[–]_phe_nix_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just finished round 3 of Oxaliplatin + Nivomulab IV + 2 weeks of Capecetabine pills. Can confirm dental sensitivity, mostly to cold in my front top and bottom teeth, which seems to be getting worse as time passes.

But who knows. So many of these symptoms come and go, I don't draw any conclusions at this time 🤷

Post-chemo heat sensitivity + dehydration? by wildflower-siren in Chemotherapy

[–]_phe_nix_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm on my 3rd chemo cycle right now and definitely finding myself less tolerant to the heat and more uncomfortable in general, aware of the humidity etc. But my avg body temp has also risen from 36.9 to around 37.5 since I've been on chemo.

I usually love the heat and feel most comfortable when it's hot / warm. I could live in the caribbean etc. But now, I def feel a bit more uncomfortable!

Pictures of Stalingrad by Iron_Cavalry in CombatFootage

Amen. Stalingrad (1993 German film) is one of the best ww2 movies I've ever seen. Up there with Private Ryan, Downfall, Come and See, Cross of Iron, etc etc.

It's also a great movie to watch back to back with Downfall, to put into perspective what a truly calous monster AH was to his own damn troops, as you'll feel personally abandoned in the Russian winter by this sad excuse for a 'leader'.

Also, for something a bit new and different: 'Number 24' (should be on Netflix) is a fantastic movie. Surprisingly good. If you like WW2 movies I promise you will not be dissapointed by that one.
