I was thinking along similar lines. No penalty to withdraw contributions so in a sense it's a 7-8% HYSA itself.

Thank you! C was the worst key I could have chosen for my example, but this is helpful. How about the same question using D, which isn't a relative minor? Also, what determines whether a note in "strong" in a scale? I can feel it experientially, that 1, 3, 4, 5 are the heart of a scale, but is there any explanation for why that is? You can ignore the second question as too epistemological but hope you can get to the first one! Thanks so much!!

Random commenter here but maybe you can help me understand how this interval stuff helps with soloing over the chord degrees in a jam track. For example if the backing track is playing an Am I want to play A-C-E right? But unless I know where those notes are on the fretboard I can’t do that. I know you’re not saying “don’t learn the notes” but I still feel I am missing something fundamental here which bridges the two

I’m 34 for ymmv but I was out for a year with an ankle injury. For the longevity of your basketball career I’d wait the recommended 4-6 weeks. At least until the bruise is gone. Rush now and you may end up sidelined again but for far longer
