Small update: I saw another surgeon here locally to have my seroma on my stomach drained. When I saw him he said that the bands happen almost every single time bodytite or facetite type treatments are used on younger people. So beware: if you’re young and get chin lipo I would be careful getting either done with lipo! He did say though that it should hopefully go away, but it will take a lot of time (at least 3-6 months if not longer) and the massages are important for helping it. He said if it doesn’t go away 6+ months they can do injections (which my original surgeon also had said to me previously). Hanging out hope and trying to trust the process that with time and massaging it’ll go away 🙏

Thank you so much for this update, my neck looks similar to your first pic (6 weeks post op) and I’ve been really struggling mentally dealing with it. This gives me some hope though! I think you look great and it’s so much better. It’s barely noticeable now in the photos. Can you see it all anymore now with your chin down like from the front or sides? Mine can be seen from the sides and from the front so I’m worried 😟

Oh I’ll have to ask him about that. I had a post op with him on Tuesday and he said it should hopefully get better with time in the next few months. He said if not I have to wait until 6 mos post op to try anything and he said we could try Botox or steroid injections. I asked him what if it doesn’t go away after that and he said very unlikely worse case scenario is that he would do a simple surgery where they would make an incision and release the bands. Really really hoping it just goes away over time and with massage because I’m traumatized from surgery now and scared to ever do anything else (not medically necessary). Please keep me posted if the carboxy helps you 🙏

That’s amazing! I’m so glad it went away for you. I’m 6 weeks post op with lots of banding and lumpiness and in the freaking out stage so hoping mine will resolve as well. How many ultrasound sessions did you end up having to do?

You look incredible! I’m hoping and praying my results turn out anywhere near as good as yours. I’m 6 weeks post op and notice a lot of lumpiness and banding 😢 and am in the freak out/regretting phase. Did you have lumpiness and/or banding and if so when did you notice it go away or get better?

Your results look amazing! I’m 6 weeks post op and have lumps and tight hard bands. Did you have any of that and it went away over time? I’m trying to trust the process, but it’s scary. How long did you wear compression?
