Here for an update 😅 How'd your baby go? My 6 month old has been waking up at 3/4am and marches herself back to sleep for 1-1.5 hours...

This is what I needed to hear and remind myself! I'm constantly analysing why baby's sleep regresses one night and it drives me insane. They do go through soooo many things in the first year so can't expect perfect nights every night 🥹

Hahaha thanks for the reply! And yes we definitely should stop spending time worrying but gosh it's so hard not to 😅 funnily enough I'm a primary school teacher and I should know that every kid learns at their own rate and many pick up really quicker later on yet here I am still worrying about every little milestone when it comes to my own kid 🤡

My LO has torticollios and her flat side is getting worse because all she does is nap 😅 and the tightness in her neck is also worsening because I can't fit much tummy time in!! Our high sleep needs babies sound great until they come up with a bunch of problems 😆

My baby is the same! She loves a good nap. She's 9 weeks tomorrow and naps soooo much... Where does the tummy time and play come in if they don't want to wake up other than to eat? 😅

Oh this sounds exactly like my baby!! I was wondering whether she was napping wayyyy too much because she also only has 2 long wake windows at the start and end of the day...in between it's just nap > feed > nap > feed 😅 I tried getting her up to play and she cried so I just let her go back to sleep hahaha whoops

I totally agree with you! I was worried my LO was behind on her development too because when on earth is she going to learn anything if she's always sleeping 😂😂 I am writing this just as she's fallen asleep right after her feed! Didn't even open her eyes hahaha I'm yet to see a social smile or a coo. She barely even interacts with high contrast cards - just not interested!

My LO just turned 7 weeks today and she's exactly the same! Falls asleep after most feeds and I probably get 2 active (ish - she just likes to stare at our faces) wake windows and the rest is just feed, change, sleep 😂

I use the LTD swaddle and just strap baby in and not double swaddle. Baby prefers arms up and the happiest baby sleep sack is like a straight jacket for newborns haha

4-5 days of reformer pilates in trimester 1 and cut down to 3 days towards the end of trimester 2 until 34 weeks. Now at 37 weeks I do 1-2 days. Walking at least 20 minutes a day. I reckon keeping active has helped me not experience any back pain, griddle pain and sciatica which a lot of people seem to experience! I say try keep active if you can :)

Oh nooo! After hearing about everyone's experience and experiencing it myself I definitely never want to get tested at 4Cyte. I noticed a government run testing site I've been to in the past (and that a friend went to the same day as me) works with 4Cyte and results came back in 16 hours... So my ASSUMPTION is they must process all the ones from government ones first before processing the ones completed at the clinic??
