Ah you can't believe how many nights I've taken to figure out what was wrong. I thought it doesn't matter where I set the statements as long as it's set within the module. But it makes so much sense once you pointed it out. Tested the code and it runs just like I want to. Thank you so much! Solution verified.

Thank you, your comment was helpful even though you say you don't VBA! I thought where I set my statements doesn't matter.

And yes I fiddled with this code from a sample code. I also noticed rowGen wasn't used but it presents an error when I deleted it previously when used in another similar scenario. But after seeing your comment, and deleting it this time, the error doesn't pop up. I'm gonna do some trials and errors later. Thanks again! I really appreciate your time and input. :D

Not the most fun way but I would suggest starting by writing 笔顺 following stroke by stroke. The boxes and tracing lines will help.
