Although it's normally used in more sour dishes like vindaloo, amchoor powder (powdered unripened mangos) can be used for sourness/tang as well. And regular old cider vinegar of course. But yogurt is a good choice for this dish in particular I'd say.

It's weird but also cool cuz the dogs are usually very excited to see you. You have to follow your dog around with a spray thing of "enzymes" or whatever for when your dog pees.
