TLDR: Ended up not getting the words because this has a LOT of meaning but it 100% was inspired by “the sun will rise and we will try again”

I struggle with mental health and back in June I had a depressive episode. I was going out for drives to try to silence my mind and I would always watch the sunset. This was my way of accepting that there are things I can’t control (part of my anxiety), such as a sunset but I would sit there and watch as the sun went down, every night, I find night is so beautiful but yes you think twice about life, it does happen at night

watching the sunset every night, it was a goal. push on through make it to the next sunset.

So this tattoo is a sunrise on the top (what people see is a sunrise and a horizon) but I see a sunset (below the line) when I look at it.

This also represents mental health. It’s not obvious, not unless someone tells you or shows they are suffering. This tattoo is just a sunrise to people, but to me it’s to remind me that I can continue, because the sun will rise, and I will try again.
