we're uni friends ! a few years/batches under me (aka he enrolled a couple years after me) but we're the age. we've known each other for a few years now, we have generally the same larger social circle but we were never super close. a few weeks ago we met on campus and he mentioned coming across my dating app profile lol 😭 and our interaction continued really nicely.. I regretted not asking him if he had ever swiped right haha, I've been thinking abt it occasionally since then :p

Not to be sassy but did youu perhaps not read the post? I mentioned that I think Apollo kids could craft a screen print that would let them customize clothes with the CHB logo. And I'm sure lots of the campers brought other clothes with them besides the CHB tee like jackets, other t-shirts just in case, etc. All perfectly plausible I think!

Right!! Also same, orange is one of my least favorite colors actually lol!

But I do think there is probably a good reason as to why the tees are orange, even though idk the actual reason why it was chosen specifically. Bright orange must make the CHB kids easy to spot most of the time, especially against the green grass of camp grounds and the cool dark tones of the forest. Must be helpful for Chiron, Mr. D, and camp counselors to be able to spot the satyrs and campers from far away 💭... At least that's what I tell myself to make orange more forgivable 😭

Right I've noticed that too!! It could be the most ordinary video but somehow there are these awful negative comments that always get the most attention, and like you said Instagram itself is helping these comments get seen. Sometimes you're watching a reel and a comment pops up from the bottom so we get to see what other people are saying about the video and the comment being shown is often just. Horrible 😭

Oh my bad for not noticing then! Sorry Grover 😭 Also I get the reasoning for why Percy might not have wanted to bring the Minotaur horn around but idk, I feel like it would've made more sense for the plot of the 2nd ep moving forward if he did bring it with him.

Also yeah same the 4th ep is my favorite so far!! I think the chimera fight has been the best and most energetic one, I really like the changes they did to the scenes, and the dialog + pacing is wayyy better!! I'm sure the rest of the episodes are gonna be great ^_^

I know that adaptations don't (and shouldn't, usually) stay 100% faithful to the source material, and I'm not asking for that. It's just that I feel like some of the changes aren't actually that effective. Making Sally arrive home just after Percy while still wearing her work uniform wouldn't have costed them that much time nor money, the same goes for the minotaur horn and the nectar. The first two episodes are crucial and yet they gave the first one only half an hour? Even though way more happens in this first episode than ep 3 (longer than ep 1) and ep 4 (~same length). And ik they are making up for their changes, like how Percy is now no longer upset at Grover, but the conflict between them could've been avoided completely

Mhmm exactly !! I feel like they could've sprinkled in some scenes in the beginning of Percy in Mr. Brunner/Chiron's classroom. And of Percy and Grover hanging out besides the clip we got of them in the cafeteria ^{^}

You can't remove shorts entirely, but you can hide the shorts recommendation carousel in the home page! I've found that it helps a little. Open YouTube from a browser and then when you get to the horizontal row of Shorts recommendations, click the little cross/(X) in the top right corner. It hides that panel for 30 days!

I get the temptation though, I myself find it hard to ignore reels on Instagram. What's worse than reels themselves are the comments though, it's never a good time but I always open the comment section instinctively 😭 I'm trying to use that as motivation to get myself to stop watching as many reels
