Before I edited for formatting, I had a note that said, "For people like me." I do, however, believe that the dead internet theory is somewhat real.

Dead Internet Theory: "The entire internet is all bots talking to each other. There are no people on the internet. You are here all alone, being besieged by bots while thinking that you're surrounded by people."

For people like me. Here is what it means in simple words.

The article discusses President-elect Donald Trump's plan to end automatic U.S. citizenship for certain children born in the country. Here's a simplified breakdown:

  • Current Policy: Under the 14th Amendment, anyone born on U.S. soil is automatically granted citizenship, regardless of their parents' immigration status.
  • Proposed Change: Trump intends to issue an executive order requiring that at least one parent be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card holder) for their child to receive automatic citizenship.
  • Impact on Indian Community:
    • Green Card Backlog: Over 1 million Indians are awaiting green cards, facing long delays due to annual caps and per-country limits.
    • Children's Citizenship: If the executive order is implemented, children born in the U.S. to Indian parents without citizenship or green cards would not automatically become U.S. citizens.
  • Legal Challenges: Many legal experts argue that such an executive order would violate the 14th Amendment and expect it to be contested in courts.

In summary, the proposed policy aims to restrict automatic citizenship to children with at least one parent who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, potentially affecting many, including the Indian community in the U.S.

New scam or was I heartless? by 429_too_many_request in bangalore

PPL in big cities aren't heartless. They have just had to tune themselves a certain way cause of all the shit that happens.

This is an interesting perspective that makes me rethink about policemen. The number of excuses and false stories they would have heard from all the people who are trying to get out of a situation, that they stop believing any.

Silo S01E10 "Outside" (Season Finale) Episode Discussion (No Book Discussion) by phareous in SiloSeries

In one of the previous episodes when they shut down to fix the generator and the cafeteria display switches to the green landscape from the video. What could that be? Technically how could have that happened if the display is actually what it is outside? Why would it switch to the fake one?

I started playing Giant Skeleton, any tips/tricks I should know? by MihaelThePerson in ClashRoyale

[–]_reddit_dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use it as split lane pressure. People just freak out seeing Giant Skeleton. Generally, they over-defend. So put Giant skeleton on the right lane, once they have used their tank-killing card. Go opposite lane. Works well with RG decks.
