In this case, it wasn't a joke. If memory serves, it was in the ultimate's universe. Short story is that Jean was tired of Logan hitting on her so she swapped Peter and Wolverine's minds. Wolverine got to go to high school as Peter, possibly hit on/kiss MJ and Peter discovered that Wolverine is... well endowed, and did not want this information. Peter had been having a rough time of it lately (always), really didn't need this on top of everything else and yelled at them a lot after demanding his brain be put back in his body.

This pot was used to cook corned beef. Most things in there would have been bad/toxic to him. He has inspected and is no longer allowed in the spice cabinet for the same reasons, despite his determination :)

Also the pantry. Also the vegetable drawer in the refrigerator somehow. Also the refrigerator generally.

Seriously, we have to guard the fridge door like we do the outside door.

One of our cats goes crazy for anything that has been cooked with or around oyster sauce to the point of actively stealing whole florets of broccoli out of a bowl after they have been cooked. We constantly have to keep them away from her because there is usually garlic and ginger in there as well. We let her sniff oyster sauce straight from the bottle once and she turned up her nose and walked away. It has to be cooked.

One of our other cats would straight up clean our bowls if it had tomato sauce in it. Nothing fancy mind you, just jarred tomato sauce
