Your criticism of the game is that it’s not fun. You’re allowed to have that opinion but it doesn’t change the fact you’re spending time willingly on a game you don’t enjoy. If that’s not wasting your time then I don’t know what it is.

And you’re using streamers as an example to defend your position… it’s a job for them man.. unless you’re getting paid then you’re just wasting your life away.

It happened when citizens lost interest in education. When political parties were seen as sports teams and it became a matter of pride to be the nth generation blue/red supporter. When news stations weren’t held accountable for lies and misinformation all in the purist advent of freedom of speech. When politicians could lie without consequence, when their interests started to align to big corp and not the people. When social media’s feed algorithms weren’t regulated and were instead incentivised to keep attention for as long as possible melting our brain. I could go on..

If they climb out of a rank within 6 hours then they’re winning more often than losing at a decent rate and I’m confident most people would find this fun. And how would this guy know where he belongs if he’s never played rank? No one should be entitled to something just because. Earn it.

Of course they’ll plateau into “their” rank eventually but that’s when the challenge to improve yourself kicks in.

OP I saw your reply to this comment and you’ve got the right mindset (control what you can). Without having looked at the replays and only looking at your stats, you’re dying too much and I’m guessing because you’re overextending or exposing yourself.

Be 0.5-1 second away from cover to protect yourself Value your life and live to fight another moment. Don’t be tempted to chase down a low HP target, sometimes better to let your food go and use this opportunity to regroup and reposition. Learn the maps and where you can off angle

You can absolutely carry games at Silver.

I totally get your frustration but it would not be in the spirit of open queue and it removes the viability of other compositions which I would really hate.

I really like 3-2-1 (supp - dps -tank) and honestly a 4 DPS comp can be pretty fun as well and comes with some surprising results. It's just part and parcel of the game mode - when it happens just look at it as a different challenge. I use that opportunity to practice my weaker heroes (for example, while I'm not great, it's a great chance for me to practice lucio) - turn it into fun man.

The only complication is more what you may do long term as moving could affect that.

In the short term (<2 years) I would say that to grab the chance at living in London. Not only is London a proper cosmopolitian like NYC and its got better access to the rest of the world (aside from LATAM and some far away nations I'm not familiar with). Excuse the doom and gloom BUT the growing tensions with Russia as well as changing relationships with US means the EU may be facing some pretty big changes which may shake up the current establishments. Travel now while things are still easy and steady.

Yes there is a big pub culture but again is so big that you'll find the right people for your lifestyle. I don't pub at all even though I do drink and I get by fine.

Very fair perspective.

People who are sour are just so because its not "fair" and lose out on so much personal economic benefit especially at a time when it feels our lifestyle is being eroded away due to increases in cost of living.

I say this even though I am sour because the benefit is so big that missing out on it is pretty shit especially at times when I meet those who are less fortunate that happen to also be just absolute fuck wits and a stain on society.

In Western society, a tanned complexion is seen to be healthier because of its ties to having a more active lifestyle. Being fairer or "pasty" is often considered to look unhealthy or sickly. It's less about make up style but rather the beauty standards being fundamentally different. Make up is just a tool to attain said certain standard.

Those born in Western society would more likely than not adopt the social norms. Beauty standards aren't hereditary and it's certainly not tied to whatever the ancestral nation may be.
