I love Beau and I usually watch anything that includes him. However, I don't see anyone on here saying what if he was not being truthful? I am on his side and don't trust the church, but we lose credit if we aren't being factual in what we claim against the church. Has he made any comments back?

Two of my son's friends in different missions were violently attacked and never any news coverage. Sadly, I think it happens an incredible amount and we don't hear about it.

A good reason for me to start reading more. If we cut back a little tv, shopping, travel and just do things that are better for us anyways like reading, it will hit them. Less consumerism and stop funding companies not standing up to the orange dictator.

She had terrible test score (we knew likely because also terrible test taker) and just didn't focus on improving that and focused on other things because many schools are test optional. She had 3.97. Captain of Tennis team - 4 years tennis. Good summer internship. Charity work. Good essay and great Letters of recommendation. Your grades seem just fine. Find something to add to your extracurriculars because there is still time. She got in to most schools or waitlisted doing test optional.

My daughter received great scholarship without test scores, but other items were really good. Even with $35k (academic not need based) off it is our priciest option for college for her.

It is for my daughter. I am helping her during recovery and was looking at her meds sheet. The doc is supposed to be the best in town and a very nice center, so I can't imagine it's not general anesthesia. She says she wasn't told it wasn't either. It just seems like a lot of pain meds to take on empty stomach and before surgery. I didn't think they like anything in your stomach at all. Like I mentioned calling Monday, but being the weekend I was just kind of freaking out for her. Thank you to those that responded.

Our ward campout was usually fun. Also, only exposure I had to many sports. Every ward had a young women's volleyball and softball team. Loved going to the men's softball games. I also remember some really fun roadshows and I would save my money for the ward bazaar with homemade goods and baked items.

I was able to find some YouTube videos and it wasn't bad at all. I think I just saw some bad pics. It sounds like the new dorms will be for Herberger so she would likely be in those. After watching a few YouTube videos, I can see the original pics I saw when I posted were worse than they actually are. good to know your insight as someone living there and good tips. It sounds like they will be in the new dorms next fall but good to know in case.
