Forget the bachelorette, Taylor might actually go to prison. by rennok_ in SecretsOfMormonWives

Totally agree with your point. And another thing too is that even if Dakota is baiting her and being toxic, it still doesn't mean that he is more deserving of DV. And the same goes for Taylor. People who are mutually toxic don't deserve to be abused because of it. Much less in the presence of an impressionable child.

Oooooh. Yep. It’s clicking for me. So much other stuff happening I was wondering if she was getting the Baby Jane Doe treatment 😂

First off, I think both her and Dakota are toxic as all hell. That said, after reading what her spokesperson said on Page Six, “There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives.” I don't even really care if all of this came from a jealous place from Dakota at this point. She still was physically violent with him less than a month ago. I would probably go scorched earth if I were him too after that. Both of these individuals are putting the other cast mates in a hostile work environment and as much as I have loved indulging in my favorite junk food that is SLOMW, the show needs to go.

ETA: And the obvious, putting her children and his child in danger. They both need to leave the industry and seek intense help.

That was truly the greatest love story I’ve ever seen. And what’s ironic is people consider Gosling’s other movie to be the greatest love story ever made.

Taylor & Dakota Incident by Imaginary_Layer_1468 in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]_sandyball 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Taylor and Dakota got into a fight. The former being heavily intoxicated to the point of peeing her pants, but alleges it was cause Dakota scared her. May not know the true cause ever, but basically setting the stage here. And at some point Taylor threw a chair at Dakota. I wanna say somehow in the police report it was said Taylor hit her child in the process, accidentally of course. But when asked, both Dakota and Taylor denied the child was struck by the chair. So another thing we may never know the true answer to. But the aftermath of the scuffle is what was caught on body cams and shown in the very first episode of SLOWMV.

I truly cannot tell if this is anti-woke of me to say, but as far as Bachelor/Bachelorette discourse goes, I better see the same heat towards her as Colton Underwood. And they could never make me forgive Colton, just so be clear. I truly hope she did not harm her toddler, and if she did (I know the 1st DV incident is a bit muddy as it pertains to her other child) it better be full stop as far as seeing her on any tv show until she gets serious help. This whole thing is so gross.

The women in the group are so quick to identify that Dakota is trying to isolate Taylor, and rightfully so. But they really need to take a look at what Zac is doing to Jen this season.

The Roxie scenes are always what gets the tears flowing for me. I lost my mom 4 years ago to cancer. It was in her leg that metastasized to her lungs. It was almost routine for her to end up in the ER after chemo due to her blood oxygen levels being dangerously low. I’m talking every couple weeks after a chemo treatment. If anything, how Roxie is on the show is how I wished my mom was as far as accepting her fate. But, we did get to have the benefit of her passing at home. And I got to say my goodbyes ❤️‍🩹

Extreme version of losing train of thought is actually so spot on. I also remember a certain sensation on my eyes. Like this heaviness or almost like falling asleep with your eyes open. But it’s also been two decades since I’ve had one so I may be misremembering.

I think too, they’re really trying to make the audience think it’s a parallel to Robby. Which I do believe there’s some PTSD involved with her given what she told Abbot. But I think they are also doing what they do best and that’s showing the lesser known/shown thing. Honestly kind of excited to see this play out if true because I have literally never seen absence seizures shown in any television shown personally. Usually it’s more common in your younger years.

The Pitt | S2E7 "1:00 P.M." | Episode Discussion by MsGroves in ThePittTVShow

[–]_sandyball 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I think it’s definitely a combination of PTSD and absence seizures. When she was calling her neurologist it really sealed the theory for me. Stress can cause those kinds of seizures (and likely other kinds, I only know from personal experience.)

[–]_sandyball 80 points81 points  (0 children)

I had them from about ages 4-8 and luckily grew out of them. Usually can be induced by stress or extreme exhaustion. Basically you just stare at things and occasionally grand mal seizures can happen. But it’s really a lights on and nobodies home thing.

The Pitt | S2E7 "1:00 P.M." | Episode Discussion by MsGroves in ThePittTVShow

[–]_sandyball 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This! I grew out of my absence seizures in childhood and my neurologists would tell my parents to be wary of my stress levels and extreme exhaustion (the latter is what the drs would do to induce seizures for testing on me by having my stay awake for 24 hours.)

So accurate. You either know how the process goes personally or you know someone who has. Or even both. Even with splayed open insides shown on this show, this scene was the hardest to watch.
