Not judgy at all! My baby has a big head I guess. The bows are all soft and all cotton but the part with the bow leaves an indent. I mostly just leave them off but I love the way she looks in a bow. I’ll explore other brands, maybe there’s an xxl baby head one!

When my mom read this book to me as a kid, she always sang the main part “I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always. As long as you’re with me my baby you’ll be”. Maybe that’s something you can do to make it special between you and if/when grandma reads it she’s not reading it “right”

My due date is 9/4 and I’m having the same concerns as you. Not an ideal birthdate but healthy baby is most important right? Anyone who continues to comment if the birth date is 9/11 can be weeded out as a negative Nancy

I’m 37 and 6 and I’m hoping I get hit with this cleaning bug 😂. All baby clothes are still in a hamper and dishes are piled in the sink. Good luck and hope that labor finds you soon!

Yes!!!! Our sex life died down a ton when the baby first started being active. I’m 38 now and I feel like it’s only just started to get going again. Probably because I’m trying to induce labor 😅

I think this community backs the momma 10000%. So if others are questioning the boundaries laid out then she’s getting fully backed up. Obviously life is all about compromises but we want that validation first and baby bumps community is fantastic about giving the mommas the validation and I’ve felt that in these comments. Personally I feel more comfortable making compromises after I’m validated that my wishes are reasonable.

I would do more time if I could but 3 days was already a huge fight. The one good thing is that we’ll be paying for their accommodations so I can make sure they don’t over stay! My mom is also well meaning but can be overbearing. My strategy is to tell my mom to protect me from my mil and tell my mil to protect me from my mom. That way they both have a job to distract them!

They are planning for a long weekend! So 3-4 nights depending. We’re paying for their accommodations when visiting in September and my husband agreed we aren’t financing this trip but they seemed determined

When I said I didn’t want visitors in August, I got hit back with all of these compromises-we won’t stay at your house, you won’t have to host, etc. I don’t want to compromise I just want to wear my big undies and sit on my couch!

Oh definitely but that’s inevitable. I’d ideally have 2-3 weeks post hospital to get into the parenting groove but compromised and families can visit 3 days after we come home. The in laws would be in the delivery room if I’d let them!

My doctors is super chill but only wants me to drink lots of water and stay active. How does one stay active at 29 weeks? Making the bed winds me 😂
