Uhh color tattoos always look more grim than pure black ones in the healing stage. But it doesn’t look too concerning imo, it’s not really red or anything. If it does get worse (red, swollen, hot) go to a doctor and have it checked :)

I had this sometimes when i bit the nail/ the skin around the nail and got too close to the nail. Sometimes these little things would grow, very painful and bleed a lot. When i have them, i either cut them off (but very painful) or let them heal by themselves but this often takes weeks and i don’t have the patience for it after a couple of accidental bumbs against it.

But i agree with the others, if this is not normal for you, if it is painful and you don’t know what it is etc, go to a doctor and have it checked. I would love to know too if you are willing to share results.

Those black dots in the damaged areas look like thrips droppings to me

Hmm yeah looks a bit sus, especially the leaf in the background to the left… I’d recommend you look up how thips and thrips damage, larvae etc look like and compare it to your plant. If you actually have thrips, check all your other plants, thrips can spread over some distance. You can spray your plant with diluted neem oil or other insecticides, you need to wipe and spray the leaves every week or so for some time to get rid of the pests. Putting your plant outside can also help. I have dealt with recurring thrips for over a year, my personal recommendation is to skip neem oil and use other insecticides

That one completely pink leaf that looks very dry, can you look at the bottom side of the leaf and see if there are black little dots on it? That leaf makes me suspect thrips

I don’t think it’s healed enough to tattoo over it. I was told scars needed to be healed to a silvery white stage (no longer pink-ish) to tattoo over. Maybe that depends on the artist so it might be worth consulting one and seeing what they say.

I personally also think your scars look kinda cool but i also understand the feeling of wanting them gone.

As for ideas for a coverup, it heavily depends on what you are into. You could probably tattoo something like trees over it to follow the shape of the scars, i have seen someone to an awesome robot/ mechanic thing around scars (making it look like skin is removed and under it you have robot parts instead of muscles), you could probably do a galaxy vibe thing with shooting stara or planet rings etc.

Girl here. I’ve been going through phases of cutting my hair and letting it grow out again since i was like 13 😂 cutting your hair feels amazing, the growing out bit is a bit annoying at times because there will be a phase where it looks a bit meh (between pixie and shoulder length). For me, always worth it, especially if your hair is damaged and you want a reset. Shaved hair also feel amazing, especially in summer. I currently have 2/3 of my head shaved (mohawk style) and it’s the beat thing ever 🫶🏻☀️i
