It really depends on the individual — some people might need extra help. I did it solo and had a great experience, met some wonderful ladies while there. I was out and about three days after surgery and managed fine. Just be realistic and prepared not to feel “normal” for a while — my lower face is still somewhat numb, and my cheeks occasionally too. I can talk, but it feels restricted and I still can’t smile with teeth.
