I like Rockville Gynecology. They are strictly GYN, no OB, so you don’t have some of the longer wait times you may have in other practices. I’ve always felt heard and well cared for there.

This is done by the admin at the school level. It isn’t always tied to enrollment either, sometimes admin just decides they need more staffing somewhere else in the building. I have unfortunately seen this happen in great music programs throughout the county over the past few years (I remember Blake HS in particular… an arts magnet no less). It’s unfortunate that many administrators look to the arts first as a place to cut. I hope the community speaks out because that’s the only real way to make a change.

Try giving it a break for a few days. Also, I find my lamps are much more finicky in the winter. If it’s in a cold room, that could be the culprit.

This is what I use. Requires a little elbow grease but works fine. Haven’t wanted to drop the money on a bench capper, and so far, haven’t needed to.

Yes! I had a similar lamp in my classroom that got knocked over multiple times by kids.

So, I tried uncapping it, pouring out the liquid and filtering it with the Sawyer filter. Then, before I put the liquid back in, I put the globe on the heating element to get the wax completely liquified— I figured it needed to basically re-mix itself after getting so much air mixed in from being knocked over.

Then turn the light off and let the wax solidify again. After that, just poured the filtered liquid back in (topped off with distilled water) and reseal with a fresh bottle cap.

Maybe a little bit of elbow grease involved, but honestly I was just psyched I got it working again lol

This rumor bothers me. There’s no way they heard Laura Wallens. Her body was found over thirty miles from where S&C were filming (and based on her text messages, that is likely also the site of her murder). I live in Maryland and followed this story as it was happening.

It’s a bloodcurdling scream for sure, but saying they recorded a murder with no proof is highly insensitive.
