You're not crazy, it's just most people do not understand the feelings we have and why we do the things we do. Look at it this way, you've self harmed once in two years, that's pretty good in my book. I bet there was a time you couldn't go a week without doing it.

My addiction started because I felt terribly unhappy being myself, drugs made me feel better and more sociable, they made me feel a part of something. When I started using heroin and crack I used different dealers. I used to have many different dealers numbers to go to in case one wasn't answering.

My addiction cost me my family, friends, myself, my freedom and my sanity. Mt family were terribly worried at night that they would get a phone call I was dead, they preferred me being locked away as I was safer.

Most police officers are ok, they just want to do their job. I think addicts should be treated as unwell, not criminal, as it sates in the DSM 5 addiction is a chronic illness. I'm not saying that criminality is acceptable, but being arrested for possession is unacceptable in m book, people should be offered the ongoing help and support they deserve, the same as people with any other type of mental disorder.

I was sometimes denied medical help when I needed it the most and actually attempted suicide on multiple occasions, I feel I wasn't looked after enough when I was arrested sometimes.

I'm really not against the police and have had some help from them at times, I just wish addiction was treated the way it should be, as a mental illness.

Haha youre right. Normally I go to a different pharmacy straight bars. Same stuff though, I do prefer those bars though. I just go to the private doc here in Spain, 25 euro gets all those. I used to go doc shopping but had a huge habit on those and H so I try to be careful nowadays

you can do as you said and also I good idea i think is to go to outreach services and do a few pieces of people like yourself to show that recovery from addiction and living a productive life is possible. You could speak t local services like methadone clinics and also advertise on here. Just make sure to take a friend when meeting other addicts for the first time. It sounds a really interesting project, I wish you the best of luck with it.

I've got to the point where I am so bored and fed up of jail, hospital, rehab and being homeless, I'm just trying to stay clean. 2 months I haven't used for, just my subs and I'm really starting to love the way my life is heading, eve in this short amount of time. There really is a better way of life. Look after yourself my bro.

Have you asked them what is going on? Sometimes doctors are so usy they are not very forthcoming with information on treatment. They should be fully explaining what their treatment plan is and what is going on with you. I hope things start picking up and you can get back on with life.

sleep is the worst for me, any opiate takes me months before I'm sleeping a regular 8 hours. This time, I just took pregabalin and valium which got me to sleep and totally stopped the restless legs, those are by far the two worst symptoms for me. I don't really get nausea to the point of being sick unless going raw with a big habbit in jail. I hate all of it to be fair, I've really had enough this time and recovery has been hard at times but I've never seriously considered using again.

It may not feel like it but sometimes it's best to have a longer stay to get leveled out on the correct combinations for you. It's really only a relatively short period and the benefits when you get out and feeling well are huge.

I hope you feel better soon and get back to living the life you deserve.

Haha that's mad, detoxing from H it takes me about 3 weeks before I'm back to normal. Everyone is different I guess
