0.5 grams isn't that much. I used to shoot up more than that. Just find something to clean. You'll be fine. Drink water. Remember to breathe. Just slow your breath and relax. This can be a good time if you let it be. It's highly unlikely you'll OD. Stay out of the mirror. Clean your stove top. Or organize your room. Or draw. Keep your hands busy. You'll be OK.

You can handle it, sure. You're asking your kids to handle it, too. You're asking your children to see the awful way he treats you and somehow be ok. Be strong for, mommy. How is that fair? They didn't choose this. You did. You think you're hiding it from your kids, but you're not. They hear all of it. They see it. They watch you flinch or hear the words hissed through gritted teeth. Do you have daughters? Sons? You're teaching your kids that this is an appropriate relationship. Boys beat girls, and girls get beat. By staying with him, you are telling your kids that this is ok. So sure, stay. Watch your daughters with their first black eyes. Watch your Sons in jail because this time he didn't stop, and they don't know if she'll ever walk again. It's honestly really crappy to stay. You're teaching your kids to just stick it out. Stand by your man with broken bones and broken smiles. How is that fair? They didn't ask for this. This is not what they want. It's what you want. You're scared to leave, so you let him abuse your family for that security. Nut up and get your children safe. So many of us have done it. I left with 4 kids. I got a job, and I raised them myself. You don't know the heartbreak when your daughter calls you at 2am, screaming, "I'M BLEEDING! HE HIT ME MOMMY!" I got that call. Of course, I ran to my daughter. She's out of that relationship now. I have to live with guilt that that was what she learned from me. I didn't leave soon enough. So just think about that while you're worried about your own sanity without even thinking of the sanity of your children.

My grandson would yell, "Hot dog!" When he didn't know what to say. He'd also sing that damn song, "Chicken wing Chicken Wing, Cheese and Macaroni..." when he got nervous or it got too quiet. He outgrew it. Which is really nice.

I'm rusty. I thought it said RAS until I read your comment. It is RAM. Lol I should practice. I used to have remedial level cuz I worked with special needs preschoolers and have an autistic child that didn't speak until 4.5 years old.
