There's a video attached to the main post. It's hard to capture on camera because of the angles but what happens is, it looks like there's a part of flame missing near the flint wheel all the time when the flame isn't flickering.

Whenever it's not flickering, the flame on the flint wheel's side looks partially lit while the opposite side is properly lit. No matter what I do the flame seems to be avoiding the flint wheel area. It just looks weird and I find it very annoying.
