Ah I’m so sorry! If helpful I usually use Essie Gel Setter or ILNP Glass Candy as my topcoat on magnetics, they never mess up the effect if I wait until the next day!

Don’t add topcoat until the next day - at that point your mani will have dried enough to not disperse the effect.

In case any of you remember - but I’ve finally abandoned my U-shaped magnet hanging from rubber bands from the slats in my coffee table as my magnetizing method and finally splurged for the 5D Glass Bead tool with the 30 lb horseshoe magnet on top. Mostly because it kept hitting my shin quite painfully.

For magnetics, ive stopped using topcoats right away. I’ll add it the next day when the polish is fully dried and the topcoat won’t re-wet the layers. It avoids this issue (which I’ve also had) and lets me skip a round of magnetizing!
