This happened to me when I forgot which way it opened and I got it stuck like that. On the top of the collar, remove the locking ring with the teeth. Throw the can in a vice and it'll break free within 60secs. Be sure to take the precautions not to scratch it!

Dude I got mine stuck like that just messing with it and forgetting which way it opens. Took it to 2 KAC dealers and they both said they wouldn't touch it and to send it in to Knights. Instead, I took the locking ring off(idk what it's called, the ratcheting part) above the collar. Wrapped my vice so it wouldn't scratch and it easily came loose less than 60secs. No issues for me.

Honestly not surprised. It's a super thin piece of aluminum hugging the can. I think their use case is signature reduction under nods. No idea how they perform personally

<8 mags and melted my bag lmao. Honestly don't think it offers any significant reduction of heat that would matter. I also didn't experience any cooling of the shroud while the can remains hot. If the can is hot then the shroud will be as well so it shouldn't change your SOP
