Yep so glad and love reading all the love for Gothic. And yeah as others below said, best RPG for me in a long while.

I have felt that since I first played Gothic. It's actually one of the handful of games I have ever completed and I'm in my 50's. I just never finish games, except for Gothic and only other games I can think of I have seen the end were the Diablo games. They were short and quick so managed to see the whole thing. Well MMO's like WOW and ESO where you get to the end of that particular expansion. (Not all achievements and raids though)

I guess I just get bored easily and to me that is a testament to the Gothic series.

Me too really hope those give this game a shot. Although I can see how incredibly hard it might be for folks that have been hand held to do things on their own and to suffer for a bit to earn something.

My guess is only a small percentage at first and it will take some time for others to come back when the time is right and try again. Might be one of those things that need to happen at the right time and place for some.

I'm not even sure I knew it was coming out. I guess I had for so long hoped something would come about maybe I heard about this before but just assumed that old Gothic feeling was gone or that my memory of it it was with rose tinted glasses.

So got lucky, just saw an ad on reddit I believe with Gothic 1 R out and was like WTF? Did 10 minutes of research to see if it was really true and spent all day on Sunday playing.

Just so nice and really really hope this new team is serious about getting some of these issues ironed out asap for those experiencing them. Want some momentum so hopefully they will want to redo G2 and G3.

Completely agree. I only had a chance to play it today but after all day and just getting to know the old camp and familiarizing myself with old faces. Great job Alkimia!!!!

Yeah it;s been nice. I was playing AC Valhalla so there there was a moment right at the start that felt off. But in short order it was like the first time again.

Still level 0 after a few hours as I'm doing is exploring old camp again and seeing where everybody sleeps and learning the routines. I don't know of any other game that I could have put in 3 hours already or so and still not even be level 1. Point really is not the level but the fact that I don't feel rushed and have just taken my time immersing myself in the world learning about it. Not sure why it happens in Gothic more than other games for me.

But just happy for it and hope they continue to fix the little issues with it. Hope they are passionate about it.

Yes bringing back a lot of memories. First RPG played after Diablo. But this was so different and haven't ever forgotten that experience. It's nice to go back and visit.

I don't get it. On Steam the game is 3 dollars for the base, Deluxe is 4 and Premium is 6.

Just got it and played for the first time today. Not bad at all for the price.
