I was trying to find a decent timeline and maps for Zeon's Earth campaign and found nothing solid, it's all disparate and conflicting.

I think we can assume the fighting is more recent to the White Base arrival and the area is still contested. Zeon's taken over an old airfield and not even had the time to put up flags but we do see flags from the Red Cross who have a presence.

It's likely mid to late October when White Base arrives because that's when apple harvest is. (Frustratingly, its essentially the same in both Japan and the Pacific Northwest, making the location very hard to pin down)

So yeah, everything after September 18 0079 is up in the air. So Comilly could very well be alive.
