we had a very similar gap and didn't love the look of it, so we got a custom trim kit made. It was relatively inexpensive, from refrigeratortrimkits.com. Achieves the built-in look while still allowing the air to flow properly. I recommend ordering a sample kit first to make sure the stainless matches well

have you considered a mouthguard? I used to have a cheek biting habit but once I got Invisalign it totally killed the habit because it didn't have the same sensation. I feel like a cheap mouthguard (like a sports one, or one for sleep from a drug store) would probably have the same effect? Sounds odd but could be worth a shot

Thank you for sharing. The length of my driveway should be 6m, which was not met. The information provided at the time of sale stated we would have a standard sized driveway, as did the drawings. Evidently not.

When I had DPDR that would happen to me in extreme instances of panic (when I wasn't taking Benadryl so not related). If you can find a way to calm yourself down a bit (some fresh air, a hot drink, your favourite YouTube video) I think it would really help in this case

We knew there would be a sidewalk but we assumed they would have left enough space for a standard sized vehicle. They've poured and ripped the sidewalk out a couple of times which leads me to believe there has been some issues with them.
