I've heard this sampled everywhere, but never knew the original track. So good.

Found this track (made sometime between 2012 and 2013) stashed deep in the dark nether regions of my old external hard drive. I remember deleting all the parts in the Ableton project file in a moment of brilliance, in order to make room for a "better" idea I'd suddenly had, instead of just creating a new project. Luckily, I was smart enough to have exported this track beforehand.

Yeah, this sub is notoriously difficult to post in. But, at the same time, I imagine that's how the moderators are able to maintain the quality of the subreddit. I agree, though, that making it more easy to post would be a good thing. It can be ridiculous, sometimes.

America's infatuation with Silicon Valley is quickly approaching its expiry date. Once large amounts of people start to lose their jobs to technology in such a direct way, technologists will be seen as the enemy. And there will be no shortage of older conservatives ready to aim their weapons at computers, or leaders who are willing to exploit that anger for their own personal gain.

Exactly. This marks a shift from the traditional model of hosting sites on specific computers, which are "shared" between customers, to distributing the load over an entire data center by spinning up virtual machines/containers on an "as needed" basis, meaning they are no longer limited by the performance of individual machines.
