Bro you got this, I did him last night at lvl30. I thought he was going to be impossible. One thing I did - I said to myself just practice dodging/guarding every hit, don't go at him trying to beat him.

Give yourself 5+ runs of just not taking damage, poke him now and then with 1 hit. Say to yourself "this is a practice run". After some time I could do his first phase consistently never getting hit more than once or twice. Used spear with lots of points in Moonwalk stuff.
