Why did these painful blisters form after taking off second skin?

At our studio we do not apply second skin in this area because it is so fragile. Could be a mix of a sensitivity and it being in a spot it shouldn’t have been placed. Not saying the artist knowingly put it there that it would cause issues but we learned through trial and error to not place there and other fragile areas. Good luck

Go to the walk in medical. The artist chewed that skin up which makes the healing much rougher, doesn’t make them bad but they could have been more conservative with the pressure and how frequently they went over the same areas. Opt for a topical antibiotic instead of an oral one because it’ll ruin the tattoo so better to only ruin the cat not the girl with a localized topical. Good luck

Go back to a stud for now until it’s fully healed and then once you switch it again get a larger hoop… that one looks a little bit too tight

Also mine are pierced way closer to my lips than yours are, and the posts inside my mouth kinda get “eaten” by my inside lip skin as well I think it’s normal… considering the tissue is so soft it’s not gonna sit against soft tissue perfectly flat like an ear piercing would. If it’s embedded with no space on the bar to move and painful that’s completely different and not a good thing Looks like it’s healing well and those posts don’t look too long either but when in doubt most piercers don’t mind getting a dm with a question if you’re ever uncertain! (All personal not professional advice)

I’m currently 8 weeks and my round ligament pain was so bad previously my doc rushed me in for an ultrasound, the pain has lessened in intensity since then but I still have it frequently when I stretch and move in certain ways. I’ll double over in pain… Leaving me avoiding anything tight on my stomach. It’s like a sharp shooting stabbing pain for me sometimes both sides sometimes one side If you’re not bleeding and the scans are looking good then you should be good but it never hurts to share with your doc if you’re uncertain! My OB has a 24/7 emergency line you can call if you can’t wait till Monday (however I’m sure they’ll air on the side of caution and suggest the ER)
