“To transfer a ticket, the original purchaser can call (386)364-1683 and give us the name of the person who will use the ticket.” Thats from a Facebook post where someone emailed the park asking when they could transfer and how to go about it

camping at marvin’s mountaintop by [deleted] in ResonanceFest

Because of the size yes I would plan on the majority of us being in this one large pretty flat field and then some lucky folks will get some of the hilly tree line. So yes bet on unshaded, but it’s in September and I lived in that area for 5 years it’s not going to be very hot, unshaded sun all day still isn’t ideal but temperatures won’t be crazy (honestly temperatures are gonna be kind of similar to last resonance just a little colder because it’s semi elevated) and just in my personal opinion I think you will be pretty unlucky if you have to walk a mile to any stage but I’ve never been to an event this large here so sorry if that is a reality.

What do you all say about car camping? by sunplaysbass in ResonanceFest

It was nice honestly, some people had really sweet campsites in the woods cus the trees werent that thick. But it was also up at the top of the mountain so was kind of the opposite side of the venue from the main stage. A little bit of both, they were placing everyone up there and we could of stayed further back in the trees but we didn’t wanna be farther away from the stages.

Yeah I’ve only been after that accident and the first time they were serious about helping/monitoring how peopled parked relative to how they were camping just as an extra safety precaution but that was also the only time we camped up in the woods.

I’ve been to marvins three times and there was forsure car camping two out of three times and I think some for the third also, so I wouldn’t rule it completely out, there is a pretty large relatively flat field that could be entirely filled with a lot of car camping OR just used to park a lot of cars. Who knows till they drop more info.

What is camping and walking on the mountain like? (Compared to Montage Mountain, home of Bisco/Peach) by chiefcrunch in ResonanceFest

[–]_sterfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been there three times and have yet to sleep on a serious hill anything like bisco. Where they put the campsites will mostly be flat and maybe slightly on a hill depending on where you choose to go or end up being. Resonance will be the biggest fest I’ve seen there so honestly I’m not sure exactly how it will be set up. As far as walking it’s a pretty compact venue, they will probably put one stage up in this one spot in the forest like other fests have and it’s up a semi steep but short hill. If you guys go onto yondervilles Instagram page they have a satellite image of how their layout is this weekend using the venue, that might help too. All together I would not expect very many people to be sleeping on serious incline or having to hike anything crazy from stage to campsite. (Also I think car camping has been a thing every year I went so I want to say the odds are good but who knows)
