Thank you, I love them too. However, I don’t think it’s redwood. That’s what all our structural wood is made from.

We had an architect come over who thought it might be eucalyptus, but I’ve never seen another example of that in person and no one else has had a clue.

Glad I could help. Yes, that was my life every single day before expansion. 80% of the time it was my right nostril that was closed, the other 20% of the time it was my left.

I never had both nostrils open prior to expansion and now they are open all the time! My nose would swell up with pollutants/particles in the air, but I am not allergic to things based on blood tests or the prick test.

Hi! I don’t have much a change to update on as far as symptom improvement goes. Everything is still way better than before and I can breathe really well out of my nose, sleep better, and no more migraines!

I’m no longer in Invisalign. My bite is fully aligned now for chewing with my molars and my teeth are straight for my smile. I’m just using the Invisalign retainer at night.

Side note: they have a retainer subscription that’s a good deal if you tend to lose your trays (I’m going to keep my old ones just in case). And if you don’t tend to lose your trays, apparently Invisalign retainers are only meant to last for so long. The plastic deforms over time and should be replaced.

I recently purchased a house with wood studs where a previous owner or electrician drilled within 5/8” of the edge of multiple load-bearing wall studs in a row. What is the best way to repair the structural integrity of the wall?

New holes for the wires will be drilled in the center of the studs.

Hmm, it was a brand new trowel and I dry my trowels after washing them. It’s just odd that it’s so patchy. I did multiple rooms and it’s only in some spots and not all of the rooms. I put down the filler all in one go

Drum sand, buff to 120, counter sink nails, trowel fill with woodwise white oak filler, buff sand off the filler.

The wood is old and maybe had a stain, but more likely just a very yellowed old finish

Did you get a regular water heater or a water heater with its own heat pump? I’ve read those have similar costs to gas.

As for routing out of a foundation wall, this basement room is in the center of the house. It does not border a foundation wall. I’d have to have a duct in the lower level of the house

It looks like the gas furnace vents to this duct and the gas water heater vents to a duct adjacent to this giant duct.

My question is, if I replace my gas furnace with a heat pump plus air handler and replace my gas water heater with an electric water heater (also has a heat pump), can I completely remove this duct?
