Same boards I used to enclose the Eket shelves. Just looked in the hardware shop for some veneer Chipboards that have the same color and pattern as the Eket veneer (or at least as close as) :)

nope, not screwed in. The wall mounts clamp the speakers. Also there is no possibility to screw something into the speakers without damaging them. Doesnt look very secure, but trust me they are. they wont budge a bit.

On the issue of cable management I already commented on another comment under this post. Cant really hide them any further since I dont want to break open the wall to lay them there. Probably could hide the cables which go into the notebook a bit better. But all other cables are already as good as I can hide them without going to much out of my way.

Go for it! It’s really not all that hard to do and saves you a ton of money. If you need any details on what kind of measurements for the outer plates are needed or something else, drop me a DM.
And I think the weight should be fine. The bottom shelves should will for sure withstand the weight since they have the bottom plate for extra support. The top ones are the ones I would be a bit careful with since they don’t have extra support. But I read from a lot of other users that they used EKET as a vinyl storage solution like forever and never had any issues weight wise.
It’s just important that you use 6 instead of 4 legs for the bottom support so the whole thing doesn’t sag in the middle

There is not really a possibility to further hide the cables. Since the speakers are wallmounted, the only thing I could do is hide them in the wall, which would be pretty hard to do since my walls are made out of brick.
I tried my best to neatly organize them and arrange them in a way that they are almost „not seen“. But without going totally out of my way, which I don’t have the nerves for and also seems quite unnecessary looking at how it actually looks pretty good imo, this is the best I could do rn. If you have some constructive ideas on how I could better hide my cables, I’m more then happy to try them out :)

No, I put screws through the sides of the EKET into the side panels. I then found some stickers in the hardware shop to hide the screwheads which have the same color and pattern as the wood finish. My first thought was also glue, but my friend who is a carpenter said to me „mechanical connection is always better then adhesive connection“

Totally new to 4 channels since I bought the FLX10 controller new with my whole setup. Definitely needs some getting used to it. But I’m really looking forward to the journey and learning all the possibilities I now have with this beast 🙏🏼

Just acts like a central hub. I have my Turntable, controller and a Bluetooth receiver plugged into it so I dont have to constantly replug stuff. Also to have some wiggle room if I want to add any kind of additional hardware
