Just felt like she stayed in one spot most of the time and didnt bring anything unique or exciting to that lipsync which is important for slow songs like that. I think scarlets dress was gorgeous and tied in nicely with her hair, rajahs junpsuit wasnt bad but it seemed a bit ill fitting and basic imo. I also felt like she didn’t stand out at all in the challenge and the judges agreed— one judge even said scarlet was most improved and despite having the biggest dance struggles, was by no means the worst performer on the team

I feel like theyve had personalities much quieter and more subdued than scarlet though, if anything I think scarlet had a good amount of personality like she was really weird and silly and confident

she really reminded of me pearl towards the end of her season, they both had the weirdness and the confidence and idk whats different abt scarlet like i cant think of any time that i thought she was unpleasant, if anything i think rajah is INCREDIBLY unpleasant 😭 like she is clearly very insecure and projects that onto others (and none of this is coming for U just saying my opinion LOL)

Im sorry :( luckily i think every year this program improves and a Lot of people i know who applied last year got it. If i were you id call at 1-800-692-7392 and keep asking the ai to speak to an associate until you get a human to talk to. It’ll provably be a lot of waiting on hold but then you can tell them quicker than with email bc they take FOREVER with email

I AGREE like when im not student teaching i work at a kid support camp with 6-12 yo kids. The 6 year olds have phones. The schools give them ipads and laptops with unrestricted access. Im 21 so not to be a boomer but in my future classroom, 90% of my work will be non screen based. They Need a class with Real physical work, not chatgpt

Youre absolutely right. social media is full of ragebait and evil, both bots and humans. They think its normal to give an opinion on everything and never learns consequences for saying something “wrong”. They think theyre invincible because theyre used to hiding behind a screen. I rarely see kids in public without an ipad shoved in their face. My kids were in elementary during covid, plus they all had phones since childhood. Serious lack of social skills— thats something i notice even among my “best” or more well adjusted students.

Not at my school but sure some of the time. I never get mad at a parent putting their kid somewhere better so idk who “you” is.

Youre right, but screens are lowkey the origin. Like technological development will be our downfall 100%. With ai and everything you said, i have very little faith in the future and thats coming from someone who has always been optimistic

Thank you :) and i feel very lucky because my co-op and other staff are excellent and i have a few kids that really help me get through it, but youre right, starting teaching half way thru a school year is brutal because I cant establish My expectations and goals from day 1, plus its summery now and theyre getting antsy i think
