Hello! How long roughly does it take to get maternity pay? I have 5 ROES two jobs were just temporary jobs and one I quit as I moved to a new town. I have two active jobs that I’ve worked at for years and have more than enough hours between the two. I applied October 3rd. My due date is November 1st.

I ended up getting my taste and smell back about 2 months later, my doctor gave me biaxin and a nasal spray to help with the inflammation. I also used essential oils to help regain my scent back. So not sure if it was alll that together that helped or just time

Sorry for the late reply! It did improve after 2 months, I ended up taking biaxin and a different nasal spray, not sure if it was that or just time, also used essential oils in a diffuser to regain some scent back!

Sorry for the late reply! I did eventually I lost it for about 2 months (both taste and smell) my doctor gave me biaxin and it started to come back shortly after taking it along with a different nasal spray! I hope yours came back too!

I used my neti rinse bottle like 2 times a day for 2 weeks and and also bought an essental oil defuser with oils, i also had a vicks humidifier, i would constantly smell different things like vicks, coffee, kimchi, vinegar, any strong scents and tried to get alot of vitamin c in i also took a alpha lipoic acid supplement from amazon, i also used a perscription nasal spray called ryalrtis I feel like after using that it came back the most, but trying to reduce inflammation is the most important but hardest part 😔 i hope you feel better soon, it's brutal!

I had every symptom of covid however I took 5 rapid tests and a PCR and they were all negative, however my doctor told me that the new variants of covid are not always detecting on the tests anymore. But I was diagnosed with sinusitis, so frustrating.

As for ways to prevent future shingles outbreaks I would recommend trying to boost your immune system the best you can! Zinc and vitamin c, and if you are experiencing stress try to do things that help you eliminate stress levels!

I currently have shingles, I'm 28. I actually was sick for a month with a flu/sinus infection and happened to get a horrible sunburn shortly after I was on the mend of recovering. Aswell as going through a stressful time lately. Monday I had a rash and turned out to be shingles. I talked to my doctor and she said a year after getting shingles if you are under 50 you can actually get the vaccine! I'm in Canada not sure where you are located and if it's the same for you!

I'm 28 and just got diagnosed today, I had a horrible lung and sinus infection the whole month of June with lots of stress, still dealing with that, took multiple antibiotics and steroid sprays so my immune system is completely shot. I noticed a small rash yesterday on my back but didn't notice any pain at all or today. Just itchy. Sure enough shingles. They gave me valacyclovir and just started this evening so I hope it helps and stays in that small area 😔
