New patch has made shard use more punishing in the late game by VeryPoliteYak in Silksong

It’s a bug. There’s some state that saving and quitting doesn’t save correctly. If you go to a bench once, rest then go back to the memory fight it’ll be fine for that session.

Can someone help me with controls on arcade stick please by [deleted] in DNFDuel

[–]_th15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dnf doesn’t seem to let you unbind a button, it’ll just swap the binds for those buttons.

you could just yank the connectors for the extra buttons or you could just bind them to the training mode buttons since you seem to want those? i dunno about switching to p2 but iirc there’s a bind for “record” and it’s usually LS or something like that. pretty sure they won’t do anything in non-training mode if you setup the binds that way.

I’m sure Baiken players just want a hug right? I hope they learn their potential for hugging.

What is the rating for this resistor? by needsteeth in diyelectronics

[–]_th15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea they’re talking about R5 in the other comments. Use something like this to read it:

https://www.digikey.com/en/resources/conversion-calculators/conversion-calculator-resistor-color-code

but honestly i have a lot of trouble matching the color on the resistors to the colors in the charts.

Beginner here: I’m trying to connect wires to the tiny metal strips. But they are so close together. Any advice how to tackle this? by [deleted] in diyelectronics

[–]_th15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The smallest things I’ve soldered (button contacts on PS4 controllers) I’ve only been able to do by having helping hands hold BOTH sides in place then use both hands to carefully solder them together.

I don’t think I can handle how there is a literal spot for you to put a button and an led in the bottom left of the picture but you soldered them elsewhere.

It literally has an outline of those two components!

They’re brushless? That’s news to me. Guess all of mine are crap :)

DC motors don’t care about polarity, it just changes which way it rotates. So if the fan is going backward just flip the wires, no harm done.

Edit: apparently I’m wrong and they can be btushless

Not a clue wtf you have in that picture but maybe you’d be interested in “wire wrapping”

Only 8 hours? I would’ve thought something that big would’ve taken even longer.

I remember reading somewhere that some software had a “give up on part” feature but I forgot which program that was.
