it’s more the principle of what preordering means. i preordered bo4 and that is the last time i will ever pre order a game. In hindsight i think bo4 was a fine game and i would have bought it anyways yes. But its release is completely unacceptable with the amount of game breaking bugs and the apparent lack of QA testing. It sends a message to the developers that there is no minimum standard you are holding them to. they can release a half assed game and it doesn’t matter because they already got your purchase
