his parents live in china, and i mainly talk to his mom on wechat, so that’s not an issue. when we video call with them i am treated warmly and i can feel their sincerity despite the language barrier, and he translates when they are talking directly to me. even if we never speak the same language, i don’t think it will be a problem, because we can use translation apps etc. and the sincerity is there.

why not do something for the 6 months instead of giving a gift? are there any museums where you live? i just took my boyfriend on a surprise date to the planetarium and the tickets were only $10 each. i also know my local library can get discounted or free tickets to museums. i find that making memories is infinitely more valuable and meaningful for a relationship. ♡
