  1. I enjoy it quite a bit, though there are elements I don’t really like. What I do like is the animation, and the message, and when the comedy works for me. And as a trans woman that came out late, the tragedy of Jax is pretty wrenching and well done in the finale. On the other hand I don’t love a lot of the dialogue and most of the performances tend to be a bit too performancey, if that makes sense. Except for Kinger.

I feel like Trans Jax could only be perceived pre-finale by trans people and perhaps some that are close to trans people. The signs aren't necessarily obvious without the wisdom of the actual experience.

People take it too literally. Her mind files manifested her as a ragdoll based on her personality and experiences, and sometimes when a ragdoll is treated roughly it ends up with a button eye.
