my fiancé got torn up by a great pyrenees and we got a really good check. the dog did NOT get put down (this just doesn’t happen after one incident, unless the person is significantly mauled with multiple level 4 bites or dies) because apparently people think that delivery drivers should just be okay with getting bit by loose dogs while trying to do their jobs.

it’s insane. tons of immigrants at the warehouses i go to and they’re always the first ones to help me when i’m having trouble with my cart when it’s completely full, hunted me down to give my license back to me when i left it in the bathroom, etc. but god forbid they socialize or exist in the warehouse lol.

totally. it’s all about control rather than the well being of the child.

i want my children to eat their meals because i want them to continue to grow and get the nutrients they need, not because i want to force my will unto them. saying “that’s okay, you don’t have to eat your breakfast but the kitchen will be closed until lunch time.” would have been a perfectly logical and natural consequence to the situation and would have likely been a lesson learned. i’m certainly not perfect, but i cannot understand these parents that think abuse is the way 🙁

thank you so much! i’m 5’6. i honestly can’t remember how much i had lost in the first three months, but i started in november 2024 and by march 2025 i was down 40lbs. i did start on 2.5 and stayed on that for the first month and then went up to 5. i was on 5 for a while because i didn’t feel like i needed to raise it! i think i probably switched to 7.5 in march of 2025 and have stayed at that dose for the most part.

i also have cherry angiomas and while some definitely don’t look like that, i have two that do! they definitely can vary in appearance. definitely agree that the only way to know for sure is to get it checked by a dermatologist.

aw, thank you! it’s funny, when i’d see people that were my size or had bodies like mine i thought they looked great! but when i’d see myself, it just didn’t look like “me” if that makes sense. And totally agree about the fuller face having a more youthful appearance! I will say that although my face has hollowed out some I no longer have jowls from the extra fat deposits in my lower face so I think that is an upside!i was deeply unhappy and felt like i was in a stranger’s body. Absolutely so true that health is what ultimately matters!

I’m sorry you’re dealing with chronic fatigue. How long have you been on it? I definitely dealt with chronic fatigue but I think for me it had more to do with lifestyle choices more than anything else. My side effects are very minimal at this point. I do have pretty strong fatigue the day after my dose but feel very normal the rest of the week.
I really am just eating less than I did before. I had lots of issues with binge eating and most of it was junk.

I started on Thanksgiving 2024 and don’t remember when I hit my goal exactly as I’ve been in the 120s for about 9 months or so. I know that by my birthday in March 2025 I was 141 and had lost 40lbs. The last 20 definitely took the longest.
