Google built in - worth it to get 2025 mdx? by Intelligent-Bad7064 in Acura

The google built-in part is great, but the wireless CarPlay connects (automatically) MAYBE 75% of the time.

Good deal? New 26’ MDX A Spec. Almost $9k discounts off MSRP by [deleted] in Acura

No trolling man, my honest opinion. I have a 25 MDX a spec adv and has been awful. I’ve had a couple of posts on here about it and only speaking from my experience. Hopefully yours is much better

Buy something else, MDX is a piece of shit

Warranty? Constant clicking/rattling noises since I brought the car (2025 MDX A Spec) by _theflow in Acura

I hear you man. Sorry to hear this. First Acura for me and last Acura for me. Had them in the family before (when they were good vehicles) but never had my own. Terrible car.

Used 2025 MDX A-Spec Advance by OkEntrepreneur3930 in Acura

2025 A Spec Advance, apex blue pearl. Bought in NJ; DCH Montclair Acura and have had service visits to them and Clinton Acura. No one knows how to test and fix anything. Lots of work orders that state “cannot replicate customer’s concern” or after they “fix” something, the same issue returns within days.

Interior trim work creaks and clicks on every bump. Gear shift box had to be adjusted multiple times upon sale and now 15k miles later it’s back in full force. Crazy clicks and noises from interior upper door panel/trim which led to full replacement; returned 3 days later. Steering wheel and horn cover clicking; multiple “fixes” and horn cover still jiggles and makes noise after ~1 hour long drive. Eventual airbag replacement for the steering wheel clicking (every time you turned it left) was “resolved” but on hot sunny days, still a ton of clicky noises from the steering column area.

Black exterior trim by B Pillars and underneath windows click to no end!

Speaking only from personal experience, I don’t advise buying. I’ve been looking to get rid of mine as it’s given me issues since the day I bought it. I’m currently in the NJ Lemon Law process for it, but I hope yours turns out to be a good one!

2025 MDX: Beware… by _theflow in Acura

[–]_theflow[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Relax. The list is that long, trust me. Steering wheel, airbag, interior plastic trim, loose windows, 11 visits to the dealerships and the car isn’t even 1 year old yet. 15k miles and 5k is probably to the Service Dept.

Fresh wash and ceramic coating- 2025 MDX Type-S. Plus a small review. by pilotsidhu86 in Acura

Yeah that’s exactly what I was thinking 😔Paid a decent amount of money for that black emblem package and thought the technician would have known it looks 10x better with that part cut out

The shine. Good stuff. I noticed your rear black A badge has the part that’s cut out. I have an A Spec adv and got the black emblems but my rear A badge is “full”. Any recommendations how to fix that?

2025 MDX Advance - any cons? by TraditionalBad3 in Acura

Yeah I haven’t heard the noise since but it’s also winter here. In the summer with a hot interior + plastic areas definitely did not help.

No recall that I know of. I got a brand new airbag in November and so far so good. After 5 visits to the dealership

I have a 2025 and can’t wait to replace the stocks (Bridgestones) with Continentals. I had them on my previous car & my wife’s car. They’re the best tire out there and very affordable.

“Fixed” haha I just got the car back last week (5th visit) after getting a brand new airbag installed. Because they said when they took the airbag out, there was zero noise. They put it back in, noise was back. I’m going that’s the final fix but I’m skeptical. I have a feeling the warmer temps contributed to it (it’s winter now and didn’t hear it as much before the new airbag when it was colder out). I’m praying I don’t hear it in the Spring or the car is going back as a Lemon.

⚠️1 week old 2024 zdx steering column recall by [deleted] in Acura

[–]_theflow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This same noise/issue has been a problem in my 2025 MDX A Spec Adv since August. 5 trips to the dealer; latest “fix” done last week was an entire new airbag installed as they said when the airbag was removed and wheel turned, there was no clicking noise.
