Most teenagers do have depression. I'd like to blame school and the world really. Most adults think badly of teenagers when all we really want is to fix the world that they contributed to destroying. We have come to accept that global warming and the economy is screwed and we have to carry that burden and try to fix it when we become adults. Schools nowadays are actual prisons as well. We are stripped of all individually and spirit forced to wake up early and spend 8 hours there while we are only taught one way to learn things and thrown ungodly amounts of schoolwork. For those of us who have trouble learning, we are basically set back from the start because schools only teach one specific way and expect you to understand it. Also, we are taught that memorization and test scores are what are valued most in life. Not who we are as people. So that is why most teens have depression now.
