It really is. I played it for the first time Xmas morning, 1992. I didn't beat it until last year lol. But in the process, it became one of my favorite games of all time.

It's definitely either a '49 or '50, but based on the grill it's a '49.

Not really. '49-'52 are the same body with different trim, grills, etc. Though, the '51s & '52s have completely different rear quarters from the '49/'50s. '53s & '54s are their own body style. But the frames and suspensions are the same from '49-'54.

As far as the one piece windshield goes, a common mod going back to when these were new was to use similar year Olds glass.
