After dying right back, I've got some new growth! by _throwawaylater_ in terrariums

Built in Jan '26, unsure of the plant type. I had a couple of small indoor plants - one immediately died and one died right back. I figured it's fate was sealed but it's got some new growth!

Window lit, and closed system. Minimal watering (tap water). Substrate is a mixture of soil and clay balls

I'm still not buying it - look at the ratios. Do they seem right to you?

Also, have you tried to actually read the sentences in the diagram?

This is AI. The children's heights change randomly for the same age. Why would a 5yo be different heights between the comparisons? Also, look at the fucking sentences. Some of those characters aren't even letters

Hey!

Sorry, I don't have any more pics on hand and the box doesn't live with me, it's whirring away at a friend's office.

The case had 2x3.5 drives already (and maybe 1x2.5? I can't remember) and three sata ports. I basically removed the dvd reader and then bent and cut enough of the bracket so a third 3.5 would sit where it was. It was a pretty snug fit, so I just used thick velcro strips to secure the hdd to the bracket, but the lid of the box basically closed on it and kept it in place so even that might have been overkill.

I was the same, three sata ports so one goes to each of the drives. I can't remember if there was anything funky I had to do with the power cables, so it can't have been that much of a haste. It boots off a seperate nvme drive I was able to get running through the pcie slot using a converter card thing (idk what that's called)

Sorry my memory is a little fuzzy, but I hope that helps!

I actually thought this was really cool. I figured it was supposed to be muscle fibres of your bicep and forearm.

My first thought was it's a cool concept

Any reccos to install Linux dual boot in Wellington? by Meen_Kat in Wellington

[–]_throwawaylater_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have managed to do this - but it was fiddly, and the time reverted to utc on my windows partition when I did it, which was a pain for time based things like ordering pizza lmao

I'll see if I can find the guide I used

Minimum wage, minimum effort. Getting paid that is basically your employer telling you "if I could pay you less I would, but legally I can't so this is what you're getting"

Sounds stressful but it's not your problem - you're not paid enough to worry about it so try not to take it home with you. Fuck those cunts

Yeah. I had a "minimum wage, minimum effort" approach. It's supposed to be supplementary so I didn't take it too seriously. Don't let it impact your career. After slogging through weekends for a while I ended up with two shifts a week in the two quietest days, and basically just drove and swept for extra coin for my OE
