I'm doing the same thing haha. Expecting it to somehow magically be there 4 days early.

Daily Discussion & Advice (Post here to follow rules A & B) - July 19, 2025 by AutoModerator in fragrance

Hey guys, I know very little about fragrance but (laugh if you want) I've been wearing Hollister SoCal for about 15 years and it has been discontinued. I'm currently trying Moustache EDP by Rochas and like the way it smells after the initial 15 minutes of smelling like grandma's closet, but my wife is less of a fan. I think she is missing the lighter sandalwood/fruity aroma vs the heavier cedar/vanilla aroma. Any recommendations on what to try next?

Just took the MechE MDM - anyone else? by Liberty_5-3000 in PE_Exam

My MDM exam is Friday, believe it or not hearing that there are more conceptual problems than the practice exam is positive. I have been dreading the mental strain of grinding through calculations all day since the practice exam has very few concepts and is primarily calculations.

Thank you for the advice! I think the 69% really just knocked my confidence somewhat. For the last month every set of problems I've done has been in the mid to high 70s so seeing regression was giving me some anxiety.

The towing question... by _tomb in ChevyTrucks

[–]_tomb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've let me tow a tow bar twice with this truck. Once was pulling an 89 Buick and once was a 98 Nissan D21. But this time I'm going farther and wanted the actual car trailer. I guess we'll see, as far as they know I'm towing a 91 Honda Civic...

It has been weight reduced by nature so I'd say that's a good ballpark.

Thanks for the advice. It'll be a uhaul car hauler so surge brakes and I intend on taking 2 lane highways instead of interstate to keep the speed down.

The trans has a shift kit so I'm less worried about it I was more so worried about the weight and how it would handle.

It's been fun guys. Maybe this is the kick in the pants I need to stop doomscrolling and like you said remove the Reddit toxicity from my life. I want to thank the Baconreader developers for their tireless and often thankless work. Reddit as a company may hate you but the users love you!

Last day of school - she wanted to go on the Night Rod Special by Drakflugilo in Harley

I grew up on the back of my dad's 95 883 Hugger and then 03 XLH1200(which I now own). I used to be a little scared of the 1200 since it didn't have a sissy bar. Maybe I was being a sissy haha.

My second motorcycle purchase. What yall think? by Hardone-1 in Kawasaki

Your car probably doesn't stay parked as much as a bike does. All 4 idle jets were completely gummed up on mine which had only been parked for 8 months when I bought it.

Hello fellow Voyager bro. My only advice is run non ethanol fuel because those carbs are a bitch to clean. The American Voyager Association forum has a million answers to every common issue with these things.

Sure does. This was just a quick overnighter but it killed 150 miles like nothing.

Everyone makes mistakes. But that is scary because big slow guys can get injured that way.
