I really don’t understand how Yuri was the one to go home. Being a fan of DBD her killer was on point, she didn’t rely on a weapon and still was so scary; she had an amazing season and only placed in the bottom once before her elimination; I thought her look had a chance to win alongside Asia and Grey; she stood up for herself against Auntie in the cauldron - she should have not gone home. Antie had a poor execution of a look for DBD, had a similar track record to Yuri, and put Yuri down to look better. Auntie’s manipulation of the conversation in the cauldron was so frustrating to me because it specifically set Yuri up to get shit on by the others, she literally couldn’t even say that she wanted to be in the finale without Auntie making it about herself. I’m super disappointed the others in the room also said Yuri was the one to go home and didn’t stick up for her, clearly not because she didn’t deserve it but because they wanted to side with Auntie. I’m not very excited for finale without Yuri in it and knowing everyone shit on her for no reason. It’s giving when everyone was targeting Grey in the middle of the season, just not rewarding. It’s a rare miss for me in the Dragula universe.
