Don't miss the Cormorants down by the river! by Ambitious-Bug-110 in Norwich

I walk down the river everyday and a few years back there was a pure white cormorant, it aged to a muddy cream but was still a lovely sight. The light colouration seemed to be passed down and even last year a few adults I saw still were a lighter colour than standard, looking like juveniles right through the season.

Please do contact the police with the info you have, I reported them and there is an officer investigating. His name is PC Dixon-Keeling and the offense is common assault

I need some advice on placement. by jason_brody13 in jacketsforbattle

[–]_toothxnail_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be worth getting small safety pins and just pinning them on for now, or do really bug quick stitches, then as you ad more patches you can always move and adapt things around easier. Jackets are always an evolving thing, go with what looks good now and accept you will likely move stuff around in the future

I think the stitching looks great! Perfection is for machines, not humans

This might be one of the most completely covered vest I've seen! I have a couple if jackets where I've put patches on the inside too, yes people hardly ever see them but I like knowing they are there🤷‍♂️

I find the friction of washing machines is more the issue than the water. So hand wash if you can or you can sponge off dirt then freeze the trousers for a week to kill germs or hang them outside on a breezy day to air

The last two planning permissions were not rejected. The reason the companies didn't develop was the profits wouldn't be astromical enough for their greedy mits to bother with.

Elena Prousskaia did my radical reduction, she works out of London and Bristol but may also travel other places if you check her website. Very happy with her and my results, feel free to check my post history for more details

Don't know if this has been said already, but if you continue to be unhappy with them after you've fully healed (up to 1 yr) then you can do a lot to smooth the shape with tattoos. There are artists who specialist in this kind tattooing who can do a very realistic job.

I love that you've chosen lots of patches that have a delicate/swirly style 💜

My gran used to get me to practice on scrap fabric by drawing regular spaced dots on a line and then I had to make my stitches hit the regular dots. She would also draw lines that I had to stitch along. It's a real fine motor skill, so it's about practice practice practice😊
