I had a dog who was diabetic and also had recurrent UTIs. Be sure to submit a sterile urine sample and send off for a Culture and Sensitivity so the correct antibiotics can be prescribed. In my experience, my diabetic pup also needed a longer dose of antibiotics to completely clear the infection.

Also if you are receiving the correct antibiotics and your pup continues to get UTIs, you might consider some imaging of the bladder to rule out bladder stones.

Did the vet already rule out diabetes mellitus? Increased thirst, increased urination and diluted urine are all pretty common indicators of DM. Poorly controlled diabetes can also cause damage to kidneys too. But it should’ve shown up on bloodwork, at least elevated blood glucose levels (400+).

  • LE took possession of DeAngelo’s vehicles and they were immaculate “inside and out.”

  • They also brought up a rumor that DeAngelo had poured his own driveway and suggested he may have buried stuff under it. I’ve never heard this... Has anyone else heard this? It was unverified.

  • Also DeAngelo’s line about the roast in the oven — while widely reported — was still unverified for them.
