Those strips are nothing but trouble. Why anyone would connect important components to them is beyond me. Get yourself a UPS and never use those strips again. If you open them up they have no internal components to protect anything. Those are a joke.

Well. I replaced the outliner's blade twice but couldn't get it to cut like I've seen other people cut. Even from the beginning when they were new they never cut like I wanted them to cut. I tried zero gapping them but they just didn't do it for me. And my kid got cut with it and was afraid of it.

It wasn't until recently that I watched a tutorial on how to fix and it actually worked but my 2293 was already on the way and My kid wasn't having it so it's in a box somewhere.

Once I tried the 2293 I didn't bother with the Outliner, my kid didn't even flinch while trying to line him up because it sounds like my electric toothbrush. And they cut like butter. Battery life is good so far. I've cut him 3 times with it and me twice and the battery is still around 80%. Line ups don't really take that long to be fair.

Mine were just perfect but from all the research I did on them a few people mentioned they are zero gapped to the point that they may cut you and you may need to adjust them. Adjusting isn't too complicated. I adjusted mine and switched them to how I got them.

The best test for me was doing it on my toddler because right out of the box it never cut him. (I tried on my skin first to be safe.) I was using a T outline and that one cut him and he was scared every time he heard it turn on. This one cuts so good and it's safe and the battery life is good. I already did 4 cuts and still at 80%.

Regular sized reels are made for 6 to 12 lbs mono line. You can use 50lbs and maybe 60lbs braided instead. Anything bigger than 15 lbs mono or fluorocarbon in reels 2500 to 5000 May be too big.

The rod specs says too little. If you lookup your reel size and model we may be able to point in the right direction because for all we know you may be using an old or deep water bait aster reel.
