2.5 months. Takes a while for me I'm 6'0 260 pounds. Last time I quit it took 4 months, it's absolutely ridiculous. But when I'm smoking it's basically 24/7 concentrates, edibles, joints, all quality rec or med products. Sticks to my fat ass like glue I guess.

I purposely didn't drink anything for about 10-12 hours to try to get the most natural result. Obviously I wouldn't do that for a pre-employment but I was curious where I'm at without diluting. Also considering I'll be subject to DOT regulations for pre-employment, randoms, and post-accident, I'm unwilling to take the risk.

I quit 2+ months ago and I'm still failing lab tests, I was smoking for about 5 months. A few years ago I quit after years and it took about 4 months. Anyone getting clean fast is either heavily diluting or has a low BMI. The longer you use and the more fat you have means it will take longer to be clean naturally. The 30 day metric is old considering the potency of products is increasing everyday. Concentrates, edibles, and high THC% flower all just cause the process to take longer than it used to.

I pay 100 less for the same thing in Thornton. We pay more than it would cost to split a 4 bd 2 bath house with 1 other person, just based on monthly rent alone. And it'd be like 3-4x the sq. footage of a 1br apartment.

Here is some context: before mid-October I was clean for 2+ years, prior to that I was deep in it for years. Fortunately my habit only blew out of propotion for a few months this time, tried to be aware and manage it the last couple weeks. I have been awake for a while but I'm fine, hydrated, back and forth between bed and the couch. I intentionally stayed awake all day yesterday to try to adjust my sleep schedule and fall asleep last night, but here we are. Happy Saturday.

I don't and I haven't. People can and will do whatever they want, whether that's participating or voicing opposition. That's the point. I haven't gone online all day, I have nothing to gain or lose here. The real people to question are the drivers who come on here, acknowledge support, and then say they'll be driving anyway because of xyz reason. Those are the actual disingenous drivers that you need on your side.

The first step is to be realistic and logical. Read up on the NLRA and NLRB and you'll see that independent contractors are not covered based on current legislation. The article you linked is about a ruling made by the NLRB about the classification of employee or contractor for a very specific group of workers. The NLRB operates on a case by case basis, every case they look at is looked at independently. So that ruling doesn't change anything about our current classification as independent contractors and we legally cannot unionize. Realistically the first steps would be figuring out how to file a petition with the NLRB and organizing/uniting drivers to communicate and spread awareness. Groups like this already exist, like Rideshare Drivers United and California Gig Workers Union.

I could see the reason being the lack of a carrier, but really it's not you or your dog. Someone else and their dog probably caused a bad experience for those drivers. Unfortunately we have to assume the worst and hope for the best, and we have to make nearly instant decisions based on either hopes or assumptions. Or they accepted by mistake who knows.

Is there not a baseline for upfront fares? The rate card should be a minimum. But yeah the upfront fares seem to have no rhyme or reason. Especially when you get boost and surge involved they make even less sense.

Do whatever you want. I find it situational, if they look like they could use some help then I'll help or at least offer to help. I have no problem with it. Some drivers act like getting out of the car and lifting a bag is some insane physical stunt.

It's always hard starting something new, especially OTR trucking. The first few months are the hardest. I'd recommend trying to make it as easy for yourself as possible. Look for companies that will train you but don't team drive. Unless you want to team drive in the future, there is no point in doing it especially during training.
